I have been renovating "Christina," a very early Giulia Spider, a 1962 model, for the past 16 months. At this point I am prepared to sell the car. It has had its engine rebuilt and runs strong. I have done lots of cosmetic work but there is more to be done. Write me at TwoThacks@aol.com or call 202/434-2227 for more info. Brewster Thackeray.

Much of the car's trim has not been re-installed since cosmetic work remains to be done, but I show it here to give you the understanding that most important pieces are included and in fine shape.

Not only does this 1962 Giulia run nicely with its freshly rebuilt 1600 engine, it also has had its brakes and cooling system carefully restored. So it is in fact a drivable car. Many project cars you'll see are far from this state. To view videos, click on the icon once, then click again on the next page.

The bumper parts in the foreground are this car's originals and are included. The ones nearer the car are in mint condition, rechromed... I will sell them with the car for an additional $1,000 or will install them on my other 1961 Giulietta.

This car is so original it deserves full restoration... but it could make a fine club racer as it is, without major restoration, if preferred.

Other than a few parts showing primer, the car has original paint on its hindquarters. Though not really salvageable, this paint attests to the car having been stored from 1979-20009, and being very, very original and undamaged.
