I recently rediscovered my first Alfa love, Gloria di Arese, a 1988 Graduate Spider, for sale in Maryland. She needed some TLC but not enough to keep her from being a major bargain for my friend Greg Phillips who has purchased her and is bringing her back to life. Sweet!

Rinata: Brewster Thackeray's restored 1983 Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce from California. This car was enjoyed on road and track from 2006 through its local sale in late 2009... I'm always glad to sing the praises of these affordable and relatively modern, yet classic "Series III" Spiders and help find good ones for fellow Alfisti.

FLU convention in Valley Forge, PA, August 14-16 2009. Dozens of Fiats, Lancias, and also a nice turnout of Alfa Romeos and a few Ferraris and Maseratis shared a sweet, sunny weekend.
